Game Modes
Dungeons & Moles offers four game modes: a PvE campaign and three PvP modes. All modes run fully on-chain via Solana.
Campaign (PvE)
The main game mode. Progress through 40 stages across 4 acts, each consisting of a 3-week run. Each week has Day/Night phases ending in a boss fight. Beat all 3 bosses to clear the stage and unlock the next one.

First-Time Victory Rewards
Each first-time stage clear unlocks a random item. See the Items page for full details.
Gauntlet (PvP)

An extended 5-week endurance run. Explore and build your loadout as usual, but instead of scripted bosses, you fight Echo opponents— recorded builds from other players at the same progression point. Points are accumulated across a 15-day epoch, and rewards from the prize pool are distributed proportionally at the end of each epoch.

Duels (PvP)

Direct 1v1 on the same map seed. Both players independently explore the same dungeon, make their own routing and itemization choices, then their final builds are matched in combat. The player with the better strategy wins.

Pit Draft (PvP)

A fully randomized instant PvP mode. Both players are assigned a random loadout from their item pool — 1 Tool + 7 Gear with a random oil applied — and fight immediately. No exploration, no choices. Pure luck and item pool depth.

PvP Mutual-Kill Tiebreak
In PvP, if both combatants die on the same exchange, a tiebreak order (HP+ARM, SPD, DIG, ATK, Max HP) determines the winner. See the Combat System page for full details.
